  1. Hate speech is people who publish or share their harmful and unrealistic things to others, trying to convince people to hate or harm other groups. There are thoughts and ideas which should not be intentional harm someone's interest. Hate speech is always created intentionally.
  2. Yes. We should put some limits for the teenage and children who are under 18. We should protect them to set some limits on those teens populate websites. For example, children should use filters to open every page which they want to visit. And the software filter should be undercharged by parents and government. Some places like library, school should have filter in their computers.
  3. I do not think that having a common standard for the hold will work because different culture has a different standard to defined what is hate speech. However, people around the world also have some common standard to defined what is hate speech, hate-related and hate-oriented material.
  4. I think it really depends on what makes those websites to be consider as "censorship" or "need to be filter". Hate-group's websites often contains imformation such as hurting someone or crime-related material which is quite negative to the world. So, I think it is perfectly appropriate to filter those websites.
  5. As the matter of fact, the people who creat those hate-oriented web sites are potential criminal or actual criminal. Otherwise there will be no one who like to creat the hate-oriented material. And children have lots of ways to get access to those web page which contains bad imformation. I believe that people creating those web sites are held major responsibility for that.
  6. Yes. And I think the filtering software is one of the most effective way to make hate-related material away from the children. Because kids have to idea about what is right to do or not. Protecting them by taking away the "hate speech" related material should be a good idea.
  7. To answer this question, we have to understand that there are no difference between breaking a law online or offline. Which means the legal standard between online and offline are the same. Breaking a law online or offline is equally harmful to other individuals or society. I do not think that there should be ant distinction between what is legal onling or offline.
  8. In my opinion, I do not agree that their should be a different between hate-related material and pornography. Both of pornography and hate-related material can cause the same negative effect to the society.
