This paticular album was a different twist on the sounds of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. He took sound a synthesized it a bit while still having that singular sound of Tom.

Damn the Torpedoes

By far the hardest CD I have had to find but well worth the wait. Same sound but a little younger Tom. He was still working through more ways to use the various instruments in his music and it works out great.
