Hello there! Welcome to NASCAR^© For Newbies, a fan site dedicated to introducing the average sports fan to the exciting, high-speed and adrenaline-fueled world of NASCAR stock car racing!

In the pages that follow, you will learn exactly what NASCAR is and how it started, some of its most famous drivers today, a list of all tracks that the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series^© travels to, and what it's like to actually attend a race based on my own personal experiences.

My main motivation for creating this site is to give people who may be interested or merely curious a simple, basic introdution to the world of NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing. I honestly feel that if people better understood the sport, it might not be written off as often as simply "cars going around in circles" by other sports fans.
