The Celtics season so far..
First off, I just want to point out that I made this page for my CS403 class at the University of New Hampshire. I am an avid Celtics fan and something is seriously wrong with me if I miss a game...
The Boston Celtics are one of the most storied franchises in all of sports today. They hoist seventeen banners in the rafters dating back to the early 1900's when basketball first became a big time spectator sport. Winning the seventeenth banner just two seasons ago, the celtics are hungry for another with a drive to win it all. Key new editions Rasheed Wallace and Marquis Daniels look to gain there first championships and are ready for the challenge. This is a big year for all celtics fans and should be a season to remember.
With a solid start to the season the celtics are off to an 8 - 3 record (8 wins and 3 losses). Veteran and team captain Paul Pierce has a team high 18.4 points per game while fellow veteran Ray Allen follows up with 15.2 points per game. The third year youngster Rajon Rondo has worked his way to being one of the top point guards in the league and is contributing 8.7 assists per game giving him the fifth spot in the league, and is leading the league in steals per game at 2.73. With all the talent on the squad this season is shaping up to be a big one, let's just hope no one gets injured like last year.
