How to create a Web Page

Download the pagetemplate.html file from Blackboard to my desktop.

Right mouse click on the file and open with Notepad++.
Save As a new filename with the .html extension.

Enter the element tags and text content for each page.

All tags are in lower case and enclosed in "< >"
The main page sectin tags are; html, head, body
The main text blocks tags are heading, paragraph,blockquotes, lists.

1. Upload the html file to the cisunix.un.edu server in the appropriate folder.
2. View the page from a browser using the following url: My great Site
3. Make edits to the file using notepad, save the file,view in the browser until you have finished the page.
