My name is Tyler Martin, if you did not catch that from the bolded words at the top of the page. I am 18 years old and currently attend the University of New Hampshire at Manchester studying to be a CIS (Computer Information Systems) Major. This year I am a freshman, however, I already have 19 college credits thanks to programs from my high school. School seems to be somewhat different then high school which is nice as I was getting bored with high school. I am studying to be a CIS Major as I have always enjoyed working with computers and look forward to helping people with the knowledge I already have in the field and the future knowledge I will obtain from college.
Currently, I work at Kohl's Department Store in Hooksett. I have been there for over two months now and seem to enjoy it. I am not strictly just a cashier or floor associate. Mainly, I unload trucks and reload the freight on the shelves. However, I will also be a cashier when needed and will help with recovering clothes that have been askewed. We strive to make customer's happy, so they also have me clean up clothes left in the fitting rooms and put them back on the shelves so others can find them and possible try them on.
For things that I do outside of school and work, I like to hang out with friends and do stuff. I enjoy going to the movies and seeing films that look interesting. I used to go Geocaching, which is where you go on basicly a Scavenger hunt with a GPS. You look up the different items online with the given coordinates, place them in the GPS and search. When you have found the item you then sign a log and place it back. Lately, I have had no time for this so, I stick to watching some of my favorite TV shows and movies at home.
For having lived long, I have experienced many instances of being obliged, by better information or fuller consideration, to change opinions, even on important subjects, which I once thought right but found to be otherwise.
