Pack 313 has excellent leadership and this is a big part of why we have produced a quality program over the years. However, the nature of Cub Scouts has leaders as well as boys cycling through the pack at about every 4 to 5 years. SOme parents do stay active much longer due to multiple children. Leaders are much like a Cub Scout Den as the leaders and Scouts keep the Pack "Going & Growing".
The following table list some of the duties and expectations of Pack leadership divided by positon. This just covers some of the basics, see www.scouting.org about scout leadership for full details.
| Leadership position | Responsibilities | |
|---|---|---|
| Committee Chair | program planning | communicate with Charter Org. |
| Pack Committee | Ensure year round quality program | Help with annual rechartering |
| Cubmaster | Lead monthly Pack Meeting | Guide and support den leaders |
| Assistant Cubmaster | Participate in Pack Meeting | Promote an ongoing recruiting |
| Treasurer | help financial program & budget | Keep up-to-date financial records |
| Cub Scout Den Leaders | Provide leadership in the Den | Keep accurate advancement records |
Please consider becoming a leader, the more you put into Scouting the more
you & your Cub Scout will gain!
