Folsom Ct.
When the tide is high and your mood is mellow, let the sound of Folsom Ct bring you back to earth. Out of the small town of Exeter, New Hampshire, comes this vast sound. Formed in the summer of 2003, on a day when the surf was flat but hopes were high, Folsom Ct has progressed and developed a genre of it's own. If you're looking for a Hip-Hop flow, some Acoustic Folk, a little Rock and Roll, with a jam band style, look no further; Folsom Ct's real advantage is its composition. The elements that each member brings to the group melds together flawlessly. The band's bassist, Zac Delcambre, provides a solid foundation with his funk rooted slap bass style and love for the Red Hot Chill Peppers. Rob Ficara's punk style, double-kick bass drum-hitting love, and solid beats keep the band flowing smooth. Mike Hackett's mellow love for surf pop and folk music provide a beautiful melody for the band. And who takes the lead on the guitar? John Steere's Brian Wilson 60's pop influence, and Hip-Hop fascination, can be heard in most all of the bands songs. Still an element was missing, that no one could really put his finger on. Percussionist Jeff Soloman filled this niche when he joined the band in '06. Soloman's djembe provides a tribal feel, while his tambourine and various other percussion instruments fill the holes when Steere's vocals aren't taking over. With such a unique but loveable sound Folsom Court is sure to please audiences and create fans.
