History:
The Durham House of Pets was founded in 1934 by Briana Tremblay, a driven and intellectual individual. The store was founded because of her immense love of animals. She saw a business oppurtunity in the pet industry when her beloved dog Betty had a litter of puppies and she had no way of feeding them due to the lack of pet stores nearby. In it's early days, the company sold mainly dogs and cats, however, as the company expanded numerous other animals were added to the repotiore.

Furthermore, Briana Tremblay is the CEO and founder of the company. She has a tremendous passion of what she does and what the pet store means to its customers, and will not stop until every customer is completely satisfied.
