This is a 100% acrylic yarn and a no dye lot yarn. The brand is Crron Simply soft. It can be bought a Michaels for around $3.00 per roll. This is a very soft yarn and I would recommend it for any type of hat. It will be a little less warm than the thicker yarns. Even so, this yarn is one of the easier yarns to work with.
This yarn is also 100% acrylic, and is machine washable. It too can be bought at Michaels for around $3.00 per roll. It is not quite as soft as the Crron yarn but still makes good hats. It is also a little but thicker than the Crron so it will also make a hat that is slightly warmer. Out of all of the yarn available for on this site, this yarn is the cheapest and easiest to work with.
This yarn is also 100% acrylic, machine washable, and can be bought at Michaels for around $6.00 per roll. This yarn is probably the highest quality yarn available and is the thickest yarn available. It makes extra warm hats for really cold temperatures. Hats made with this yarn are the most expensive.
