Choosing the Drums That Are Right For You

Choosing the drums for you can be a very daunting task. There are literally hundreds of companies out there to choose from. Some of the more well known companies are Tama, Ludwig, Premeier, Pearl, Yamaha, and DW. These six companies are what the majority of all professional musicians use for their kits. Once you have the company you want to buy from figured out the next thing you need to deside on is what kind of material you want the actual shells of your drums to be. For wood some of the choices include maple, bubinga, birch, bubinga/birch, and ash. If you don't want wood at all you can even go for acrylic shells. The next thing is the finish of the shells. The finish is what really makes the kit. The finishes that are available are completely dependant on which drum company you choose. Each company has their own line of finishes.
