Sources for Graphics on Web Pages

There are many ways to create and obtain graphic images. You can make your own images with a digital camera or scanner. You can draw your images using a paint or draw program such as Gimp, or you can use free clip art collections.
If you use any images from a web collection, be sure to give credit to the site.
Do not right mouse click and save an image from a web site that does not provide free clip art collections without getting permission from the web page owner.

Guidelines for using graphics on a web page include:


Images for your web site.

  1. Store all images in a separate folder on the site.
  2. Size and name images before you upload them to the folder.
  3. Use a thumbnail (small) image as a hyperlink to a larger image.
  4.     click to view larger image
  5. Images can be graphic links such as buttons.
        Set the border="0" to remove the blue box around an image link.
