Irish National Heritage Park, Cliffs of Moher, Aran Islands

The Irish National Heritage Park is a 35 acre park of Irelands history. A tour guide showed our group around to each of the parks: Stone Age, Bronze Age, Celtic Early Christian Age, the Vikings, and the Early Normans. Each of the parks looks as Ireland would have during each time period. Here is a video from the Irish National Heritage Park:

My absolute favorite part of my trip to Ireland was our visit to the Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs of Moher are located in County Clare. The cliffs rise 394 feet above the Atlantic Ocean and reach a maximum height of 702 feet. The cliffs are mainly made up of beds of Namurian shale and sandstone. The Cliffs of Moher are one of the most spectacular sights Ive ever seen. You can see for miles and miles into the distance. I would have stayed here all day if possible.

One of the days of our trip, we took a ferry to the Aran Islands. We spent the day here and were allowed to break into groups and explore without the chaperones. This was the one day of our trip where it poured the entire day. We were all completely soaked by the end of it! While we were on the Aran Islands we shopped for souvenirs, ate lunch, and relaxed. We discovered the best fast food in Ireland while on the Aran Islands -- SuperMacs! I was able to get a lot of souvenirs here for my family.
