Overview of Our Trip:
My mom and I went to China for eight days with a group of students
studying Chinese. We visited three different cities, Beijing, Xian, and
Shanghai. Here is a basic overview of our trip:
| City | Places Visited/Things Done | Shanghai | explored the city, saw the worlds second tallest building, went shopping, went to a food tasting |
| Xian | went to a middle school to talk with the children, ate a home cooked meal, had a calligraphy and paper cutting lesson taught by an artist, saw the Terracotta Warriors, walked on the City Wall |
| Beijing | went to Tianamen Square, went into the Forbidden City, went to a tea house, saw where the Olympic games were, climbed the Great Wall |
