Steve's Sub Shop was founded in 1985 by current owner Stephen Wilbur. Steve was a recent graduate of UNH and believed he had found a gap in the market. Downtown Durham was scattered with pizza places and bars but, it did not have one classic sub shop. Steve decided it was time to fill the void, so he opened Steve's Sub Shop. At first it was a very small little shop with only two employees, Steve and his college roommate Craig. They served primarily cold subs with limited options. Today Steve's has grown to be a staple on the UNH campus. It offers hot subs, cold subs, and any side order you could think of. So come on down and try one of our delicious subs!
