My name is Ryan Barton. I am currently a second semester sophomore at the University of New Hampshire and I am a Hospitality Management major in the Whittemore School of Business and Economics. To cover practicum hours for my major, I have worked in many hospitality related jobs. Over the summer, I work with my father's company, Sebastians, doing everything from cooking to serving to manning the cash register. I enjoy working in this field because it gives me the opportunity to make people happy. When school is in session, I work for the University Hospitality Services, specifically in Philbrook Hall.
When I'm not working, I have many hobbies. I love sports more than almost anything. I am a huge Boston sports fan. My favorite teams are the Red Sox and the Patriots. I also enjoy college sports such as football, hockey, and basketball. My favorite college teams are UNH and the University of Florida. I also enjoy skiing, swimming, eating, hanging out with my friends, and watching comedy movies. I also enjoy traveling, having been to such places as Ireland, Costa Rica, and Canada. Next year, I will be traveling abroad for a semester in Switzerland.
