ROBIN E. SHERIFF

 

Robin Sheriff is an associate professor and researcher in the Department of Anthropology at the University of New Hampshire.  Her previous research focuses on the topic of race concepts and racism in urban Brazil.  (See below for a link to her book.)  Current research is directed to uncovering the complex relationships among  our engagement with new and old media, American culture, and dream content.  Dr. Sheriff is also developing a new specialization in human-animal studies.   

 

 

MEDIA CONTENT IN DREAMS PROJECT

 

Do you sometimes dream about celebrities?  Do your dreams remind you of movies you’ve seen?  Do natural disasters and other news headlines appear in your dreams?  Does your Blackberry follow you into your dreams?  Still Facebooking while asleep?
