    {bf:njc} randomly displays one of a collection of quotes from Nick Cox's posts to Statalist.

    For the benefit of the Statalist community, and Stata (note correct capitalization) users
in general, selected portions of the wit and wisdom of Nick Cox.

    More quotes may be added in the future, submissions are welcome.
    
    You can have a quote displayed every time you open stata by adding -noisily njc-
to your profile.do, see {help profile}.

would have remained an amusing thought. I would also like to thank Neil Shephard for suggesting
many of the new quotes, and for the idea to include dates and thread names with the quotes, so
