Founded in 1993 by Peter Cummings, Pete's Pet Palace has been the go to place to bring your pets. Starting in South Paris, ME Pete's Pet Palace has grown to become one of the largest pet stores on the east coast. It started out as just a small Pup n' Suds store where dog owners would bring their best furry friends down for a bath, but these dog owners wanted more. So, Peter decided to expand and get supplies in the store to sell for all kinds of different animals. That turned into such a big hit that he decided to bring in some acutual animals into the store to sell to his loyal customers. Peter began to notice that there was a real future in the business and he decided to open up another store in Gray, ME, right down the street from the small zoo. This just created even more success for Peter so he began to expand all throughout New England and eventually down the East Coast.
