About Me:
I work at Cilley Vet Clinic in South Concord. There, I work as a technician in the kennels.
My day-to-day duties include feeding the dogs, cleaning their cages, and playing with them
outside. Most of the time I am playing outside and it doesn't feel like I am actually working.
Though the job is not very intellectually fulfilling and there is no room for creativity or
critical thinking, I remind myself that a job where I get to play outside with adorable animals
is probably one of the most rewarding ways to get myself through school. It is impossible to
decide who my favorite animals are, but here's a list of some of the most notable:
- Pudding Pie - An adorable Yellow Lab who has to have a toy in her mouth at
all times. She loves to instigate games of tug-of-war.
- Evan - Evan is an enormous English Mastiff with the personality of a teddy bear. Evan is
my 'playground helper' because he breaks up fights and keeps an eye on the other dogs. When
some dogs are playing a bit too rough he throws himself in between them and nips them to make
sure they know that they are out of line.

Emma - She is a really short, super pudgy, and infectiously adorable yellow lab.
All of the other dogs love Emma. Since she is so short she can sit flat on her butt
and doesn't sit on her haunches like other dogs.

Harley - Harley is a German Shepherd. Originally he was terrified to be at daycare.
He would shy away from people in his kennel and would snarl at people who tried to put
a leash on him. I spent a lot of time developing a relationship with him and now
when I go into his kennel and crouch down he comes over, puts a paw on my knee and lowers
his head to let me put the leash on.

Otti - Otti is a Bernese Mountain Dog. He is not even one year of age and yet he weighs almost
ninety pounds. Otti knows better, but he still likes to stand up on his hind legs and lick
my face. He is very mischievious. When it is time to go inside he pushes to the front
of the line so that I think he has already gone in. When I am putting the other dogs away,
I notice that he is not there. He is usually still outside playing with a tennis ball.
I do not spend my time doing things that are typically considered recreational. I believe that
time is the one truly limited resource that I have, so I try to use it as efficiently as possible.
Almost every moment that would be considered 'free time' I devote myself to pursuing
my passion - the intersections of Art, Technology, and Nature. I write programs that generate
music in real time based on fractal patterns visible throughout the universe. Currently I
am working on learning how complex-systems can be modeled in Joseph Conway's Game of Life.
