sxt

Usage

sxt host [user]

Description

This simple script starts up a Gnome terminal window, typically invoking an slogin session to the specified host, optionally as the specified user.

If there's a Gnome terminal profile associated with host, it's used to set the window color and remote login command; the user argument is silently ignored if present.

If there's no Gnome terminal profile associated with host, a default profile is used, and an slogin command to the remote host is invoked. If the user argument was given, the slogin is to that user; otherwise, your local username is used on the remote system.
