This is a Rugby pitch. The pitch is not set up like any other sport. It
has goal posts like in American football. In rugby the "end-zone" is
actually called Tri. This is the area where the players can score. Unlike
footabll when a player breaks the plain of the end-zone, the player must
place the ball on the ground for the points to count.

The team who the penalty went for is given the ball to put into the scrum
and the players fight for the ball with their feet. Scrums involve a lot
of technique to be done well.
This is a picture of somone being tackled in rugby. One has to be very
sage when tackleing because if it is not done properly the person being
tackled and the tackler can both be severly injured. Injuires do occur
often, yet some of the best players rarly get hurt due to their technique.
