About Me

Picture of Me

To summarize 18 years of life is a hard task, so I can only imagine what it must be like to write an autobiography for an entire lifetime. When you begin to think about it, so much happens in even a short amount of time. I can honestly say that even at only 18 years of age, I have seen and felt many great life experiences. I look forward to the countless number of things to come. The future is sometimes scary to think about, but make the right decisions and work hard and good things will subsequently occur. This is exactly what I plan to do.

My name is Nick Crombie. I am an 18 year old from Derry, New Hampshire. This has been my hometown for my entire life. I was born on January 13, 1993 to Mark Crombie and Carla Crombie. They are currently married, and my sister, Adrienne, 21, and I have lived with them in the same house our whole childhood. My parents are obviously the greatest influence in my life. I have to thank them for where I am today. They taught me important learning skills that have helped me excel in school. At an early age I was in advanced class. I am attending the University of New Hampshire for Information Technology as a major. I could not be at this point without the educational skills that my parents taught me. Additionally, they instilled good, positive morals in me. They showed by example what it is to be honest, hard working, loyal, and so much more. It is because of this that I do my best to do what is right in life so that I am successful in anything I put my mind to and positively affect those around me. I wish to live to the best of my abilities and can share it with my loved ones while it lasts.

I have always been very involved in extracurricular activities, both at school and in my community. In high school, I was Publicity Coordinator in class office, played football freshman and sophomore years, ran indoor track, and was a library aide. I was also a part of Mogul Monsters, Just Like Us, Intramural Weightlifting, and PALS. I balance all of this along with an after school job working at the elementary school after school program for the last two years and over the summer. Time management is important to maintain grades, extracurricular, and recreation. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends. I snowboard and longboard and enjoy the outdoors and sports. I also like going to the beach or lake and boating, fishing, swimming, etc. I am interested in technology and computers, video games, and enjoy watching movies.

Although 18 years is a very long time, it is nothing when compared to an entire lifetime. I have been lucky and very fortunate, having been blessed with things that many others do not have. I am very thankful for the people and things around me. A life is a terrible thing to waste, so I plan on living to the fullest and try to be successful in every aspect.
