Pine Valley Incorporated was founded in 1975 by Peter Smith who opened his first store in Boston, MA. The company started off selling home furnishings until 1990 when the company then branched out to office furniture. Now Pine Valley is one of the fastest growing furniture retailers worldwide. In 2000 Pine Valley Inc. moved its corporate office to San Diego, CA. The company then opened two more regional offices, in Boston and Atlanta, in 2007. Pine Valley retailers have been growing exponentially since. Since creation in 1975 the company has grown from one store to several across the United States.
