The Durham House of Pets was founded in 1935 by an animal lover named Lynette Maxx. Lynette dedicated her time each and everyday taking care of the animals that she loved. Not only did Mrs. Maxx love her animals, she loved her customers. She created a store so fellow animal lovers could give their furry friends the care and love they deserve. She spent each and everyday trying to please her customers and give them the best products she could find. We continue Mrs. Maxx's dedication to serving our customers today.
