The best summary plot of low energy ion burst seems to be BEEPS proton data since this detector is immune to high energy electron contamination.
Bursts are seen near 350 450 and 600 secs with the largests ones near 450.
Ion bursts were seen on all three payloads. This plot shows the total count data from the fixed energy (6eV) ion detectors on all three payloads for the time around 450sec. The bursts are seen as short spikes. The change in background rate is due mostly to high energy electron contamination.
