In the province of Paktia. U.S war planes struck an Afghan man, claiming he was planting an improvised explosive device (IED). The war planes were called-in by ISAF ground forces. The injured man was transferred to a hospital in Kabul where he soon succumbed. Four days later, the foreign militaries admitted that the man had not been planting an IED.
