A man killed

Abducted man’s father and brother to a fate unknown

in the night of May 9/10, 2009

in Ali Khil Qala village near Sharana city, Pakitika Province. A government spokesman told the Afghan Islamic Press that foreign forces had shot a mad man dead after he fled his home in fear of the attack. The foreign occupation forces broke into the home arrested and abducted the man’s brother, a laborer, and his father. Naturally, the foreign forces said that they had launched an operation against a group of people opposing the government. The following morning, local people took the dead body to Sharana in protest.
