A civilian woman killed

late on April 3, 2009

in Shikhan village of Baraki Barak district of Logar province. A combined ground and air attack by U.S-led forces killed some “militants” but also a woman. The photo below shows the effect of a “precision” air strike which killed an innocent woman:

Deen Mohammad Darwish, spokesman for the provincial government, told Xinhua News that villagers in the area complained that civilians had been killed in the assault.
