A local man riding a bicycle

on a road west of Lashkar Gah, Helmand Province. NATO occupation forces (probably British) on a patrol shot and killed a man riding a bicycle who they thought might have been (?) a suicide bomber. Dead on the spot. Afterwards, the occupation forces discovered the man had no explosives. The NATO command issued the usual, “ISAF deeply regrets…ISAF troops take every precaution…” and related pabulum.
