A boy, 15, killed

12 persons abducted to a fate unknown

In the pre-dawn of March 31, 2009

in a compound in the Besmil district, 40 kms west of Khost near the Khost-Gardez Pass. A US-led night-time raid resulted in a dead 15-yr-old boy and the arrest & abduction of 12 persons. The assault force allegedly targeted “a militant who facilitates foreign fighters.” As usual, the US propaganda spokesman asserted the youth had not complied with occupation force instructions and was then killed by small arms fire. A Lt-Col. Rick Helmer of the US Army proffered the “we are saddened an Afghan youth was killed during this operation.” Next please.
