At 3 A.M. in the night of April 3-4, 2009

in the small town of Datta Khel, ~50 kms west of Miranshah, North Waziristan, Pakistan. A CIA drone fired missiles into the home of a local Wazir tribesman holding sympathies for the Taliban, Tariq Khan and a school teacher. According to local authorities, the pre-dawn attack killed 3 women and 4 children as well as “some militants.” The bodies were recovered from the rubble.
