In sympathy for
Faeed Ifaq’s son, 16
A civilian man, injured
wounded on September 16, 2006
in Kandahar city by Canadian occupation forces. A Canadian resupply convoy was passing by when a car allegedly sped towards it. Canadian occupation soldier fired a warning shot which wounded two bystanders with shrapnel. Afghans have complained about the driving tactics of Canadian convoys which run them off the road (just as the Americans do). Faeed Ifaq’s son was injured as was a man riding on a motorcycle. The boy required surgery. Mr. Ifaq who works as a cook with his son for Afghan “security” forces, said, “This is not the way to operate, my boy has done nothing.” He does not have the money to pay for the surgery or the medications needed by his son.
