In memory of and sympathy for


 a local tribesman, killed
two others wounded

early morning of February 7, 2007

in the village of Qamar Din, Zhod district in Pakistan’s Baluchistan Province. Afghan and NATO forces crossed the border in search of Taliban militants. They entered the village of Qamar Din, killing one person, injuring two and abducting 11 villagers (who were later returned when Pakistan officially protested). The Afghan and NATO forces arrived at the village in three pickup trucks and three armored personnel carriers and started firing upon the village.
