In memory of
a civilian truck driver
killed in the morning of March 14, 2007
in Kandahar city. NATO and Afghan National Army forces fired upon a truck which they deemed was driving too close to their patrol, killing the driver. The killing is part of a pattern of Afghan civilian deaths as the occupation forces fire upon vehicles fearing suicide attacks. In effect, the tactic of suicide attack has led the occupation forces to adopt tactics which fuel Afghan resentment of indiscriminate killings by U.S./NATO forces.
