a civilian man carrying twine
on February 17, 2007
about 10 kms west of Kandahar. A man was killed by NATO occupation troops as he approached a convoy. The troops saw something protruding from his jacket and fired upon him, killing him. They searched the dead man and found he was carrying twine, straps and other materials but no explosives.
