XXX30–XXX36, a Hazara Shia family of six

died on November 5, 2001

in town of Keshendeh, 70 kms south of Mazar-e-Sharif. The Northern Alliance force of Tajik General Mohammad Atta with U.S Special Forces Team 534 moved up towards Keshendeh in heavy fighting in a drive from the south to capture Mazar. U.S war planes bombed the area with wave after wave of bombing runs. A U.S bomb hit the home of a Hazara Shia family, killing all six members.
