In memory of
Wali Jan’a son, 2 grandchildren and a niece
died in the night of July 1, 2002 in the village of Kakarak in the Deh Rawud district of Uruzgan Province. Wali Jan, 32, a bearded man with a black turban, lost one son, 2 grandchildren and a niece in the U.S attack. His brother-in-law, Haji Abdul Raziq, lay semi-conscious in Mir Wais Hospital, minus one eye, and with 4 pieces of U.S. metal in his abdomen. Raziq lived several kilometers away from Kakarak.
