Up to 15 civilians killed
on Tuesday, June 3, 2008
in the Bahramcha area of the Deshu (Dishu) desert district, in the extreme south of Helmand Province, which borders Pakistan. A year ago, Mullah Dadullah Akhund was killed by US forces in Bahramcha. US/NATO forces bombed the area killing some resistance fighters (foreign Taliban) as well as civilians. The Taliban told Pajhwok Afghan News that four of their fighters and 15 civilians were killed in the bombardment.
