In Gora Tangi caves area close to Jaji Mayden (Maidan) village in Paktia northwest of Khost, 5 kms from the Pakistani border abutting Parachinar, Pakistan. U.S. war planes dropped at least two bombs in the area killing two persons (according to the A.I.P.). Witnesses in Parachinar, Kurram Agency, reported hearing strong blasts and American airplanes for a couple of days. An old bin Laden camp dating back to 1987, al Masada, is near to Jaji and no doubt U.S. warplanes bombed the area assuming Al Qaeda elements had returned to hide in the region.
