in the capital city of Laghman Province, Mehhtarlam. U.S. soldiers of the local PRT unit opened fire upon a vehicle which allegedly failed to stop at a check point in the Alikhel area. Two persons in the car were wounded – the driver and a laborer who were transporting stones from the nearby mountains. Surprisingly, the incident was confirmed by Javid Shams of the PRT unit.
