Those who perished in U.S. air

strikes upon the village of Rahesh

on November 8, 2001

 which was hit by two U.S. “precision” air strikes. Marco di Lauro (A.P.) captured the bombing attack upon the Taliban-controlled village of Rahesh in the Shomali Plains. U.S. war planes carried out intense bombing raids all day long of villages like Qarabagh, Qari Muheb, Esferghich, and Rahesh. The bombing destroyed a mosque in Qarabagh.
