In small village of Lowala, 15 kms. south of Kandahar. U.S warplanes were bombing a munitions dump one kilometer away. Two “precision” bombs hit the munitions dump which exploded sending shells flying in a radius of a couple kilometers. One shell smashed the home of Fazal Muhammed, 42, a poor day laborer, killing his son, Taj, and severing the legs of his daughter, Kambibi, 6.
