In memory of
Saifullah, a scholar in Islamic Studies
On October 22, 2001. In Darul Aman suburb, a few kms. south of Kabul. Saifullah had master’s degrees in Arabic and Islamic Studies (Peshawar University) and was a MPhil student at the oldest university in the Arab world (Al-Azhar in Cairo). He was killed when 5 U.S. cruise missiles slammed into buildings where he and 35 other men had been meeting to discuss the situation in their country. He is mourned by his father, Hedayatullah, 50, a medical doctor. Killed by rockets launched from U.S planers.
