Two civilians wounded
on early Sunday morning, June 24, 2007
in Lashkar Gah, capital of Helmand Province. A powerful remote-controlled landmine hit a British/NATO occupation convoy killing one and wounding four occupation soldiers. Civilians in the area scattered but British soldiers opened indiscriminate fire on them, killing one and injuring two according to witnesses, local police officials and the director of the local hospital.
