Raz Mohammadís wife and 2-6 children

in the small, impoverished border hamlet, Waza Khwa, Paktika Province. U.S occupation forces attacked a home in the small village, seeking to apprehend a former Taliban official who had worked in Laghman Province before the Taliban defeat in 2001. A firefight ensued and Raz Mohammad was killed by U.S. fire, as were his wife and at least two of his children (other sources report his six children were died as U.S. forces indiscriminately pounded the small hamlet). U.S. occupation Infantry forces maintain a forward fire base near to Waza Khwa (see photo at http://www.arcent.army.mil/cflcc_today/2005/january/images/afghan_patrol2.jpg ).
