In memory of
Naqibullah, a farmer His wife His child
on Sunday, February 24, 2008
in the Ebrahim Khel area of Tagab district of Kapisa Province. Only Pajhwok Afghan News deemed the US bombardment worthy of mention. Abdul Hakim Akhond, district chief of Tagab, told Pajhwok that a bomb fired by “coalition forces” (meaning US in Kapisa) hit the home of Naqibullah. The bomb killed Naqibullah, a farmer, his wife and child. The U.S. propaganda office refused any comment about the incident – silence is always the first line of defense in official U.S. military news management.
