killed on Saturday, November 3, 2001

in a village of the Sholgara district, south of Mazar-i-Sharif. U.S. warplanes bombed villages, vehicles, etc. ahead of the advancing forces of Dostum’s Northern Alliance (with its U.S. Special Forces 5th team members). Mohammad Karim, 23, and a child, 10, were killed when their home was hit. The “precision” bombing also killed a camel, three cows and one donkey.
