Two abducted persons
during the night of February 6/7, 2007
in a U.S. raid upon a village, Hakimabad, in the Khogiani district of Nangarhar Province. U.S. forces abducted two persons and killed Maulvi Yahya (variously reported also as Maulvi Hayatullah). The incident resulted in a protest by the elected Provincial Council of eastern Nangarhar which declared a work stoppage and a day of national mourning.
