Five civilians killed

Four civilians injured (incl. 3 children)

by U.S/NATO bombing on March 12, 2007

near to Gereshk in Helmand Province. A clash erupted between US-Afghan troops and resistance fighters. The occupation forces called-in close air support according to a French news source. A local leader in Gereshk, Adil Khan, said the ensuing assault killed 5 civilians and wounded four others including 3 children. As usual, the occupation forces proclaimed “no reported civilian casualties,” the mantra of propaganda.
